Target: Your bedroom was messy this morning. Is it tidy now? Yes, it is. My books were on the floor this morning. They are on the desk now. Did you study yesterday? No, I didn’t. I did. What did you do yesterday, Ben? I played basketball. What did you do the day before yesterday.
Sounds and words:
Vocabulary: warm, wet, clean, tidy, cool, dirty, panted, called---.
Step1, Hold up your book and point to one of the three phrases on the right for A.
Ask two more Ss to read the other sentences aloud for the class.
Repeat the procedures with several more questions.
T: Let’s listen to the tape.
Play the tape for A, and then pause the tape. T: Circle the correct answer.
Continue with the rest of the questions.
Step2, Go over Picture Cards on the page orally.
Point to the pictures at random and have Ss describe it by picking the correct card and say a sentence or a phrase. (He watched TV.)
T: Now I’ll play the tape. Listen to the conversation.
Play the tape for A and pause.
T: Which is the correct picture? Put a checkmark in the correct box.
Continue with the rest.
Play the tape again and check the answers with the whole class.
Step3, have Ss look at the pictures and ask some questions about them.
T: Let’s read the passage.
Give Ss time to read the passages silently.
Have individual Ss read the passages aloud sentence by sentence for the class.
Give Ss time to finish writing the answer.
Continue with the rest and Question B.
Step4, Ask individual Ss to read the words out loud.
Point to the word mouse and repeat.
Have Ss say the words so that the class can check the answers.
Repeat the procedures with B and C.
Step 5, Homework.
教学后记:学生继续掌握好过去式的问答,对一些形容词进行了运用,对动词的过去式的单词进一步识记。但是,就问题What was your bedroom like yesterday? What was the weather like yesterday?的回答就会与一般现在时混淆。还需加强辅导,多做练习。
